What is Court Tracker?
Court Tracker is a mobile app that notifies you when new court judgments are published in Scotland. It automatically checks for new judgments every five minutes, so you never miss an important decision.
How does the AI summary feature work?
When a new judgment is published, Court Tracker uses AI to generate a concise summary of the case. It gives you a quick overview without needing to read the full document to find out if it is relevant to your area of law. However, AI can make mistakes and so you must read the full judgment to confirm the summary is accurate.Â
What platforms is Court Tracker available on?
Court Tracker is available on iOS. Other platforms are coming soon.
How do email alerts work?
If you enable email alerts in your profile, you will receive an email each time a new judgment is published. The email includes the judgment title, court reference, an AI-generated summary, and a direct link to the full PDF document.
Can I save judgments to read later?
Yes. You can mark any judgment as a favourite, add it to your read later list, or mark it as read. These options make it easy to organise judgments and come back to the ones that matter most to you.
Do I need to create an account?
Yes, you need to create a free account to use Court Tracker. This allows the app to save your preferences, track which judgments you have read, and send you email alerts if you choose to enable them.
I have forgotten my password. How do I reset it?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?" and enter the email address you used when you registered. You will receive a six-digit code by email. Enter this code along with your new password to regain access to your account.
